2024 ETC Conference "Reaching Europe: Communicating the Good News"

Registrations's for the 2024 ETC Conference are now closed. 
 

General Information 

When: Thursday 2 May – Sunday 5 May 2024.
Check in begins on Thursday at 16:00. The conference begins with dinner on Thursday evening and concludes with a communion service on Sunday. Unfortunately, this year there will not be a lunch provided on Sunday afternoon. You are responsible for your own lunch.

Transportation to the Conference

If you are flying to Poland, we recommend that you fly to Warsaw Chopin Airport. This airport is approximately 2 kilometers away from the Hotel. However, tickets to Warsaw Modlin Airport are sometimes cheaper, but this airport is approximately 40 kilometers away from the hotel.

Shuttles to/from Chopin Airport
Transportation from Chopin Airport will be free. We can only arrange a shuttle for you from Chopin Airport to the hotel, and from the Hotel back to Chopin Airport on Sunday. If you are arriving earlier than Wednesday 1 May or leaving later than Sunday 5 May shuttles are not available. You will have to arrange your own transportation to the airport you are flying from. Please let us know on the registration form if you will need a shuttle to and/or from Chopin Airport, along with your flight information. If you do not yet have your flight information, please send this to conference@teenchallenge.eu as soon as possible. 

Transportation to/from Modlin Airport
We cannot arrange transportation to or from Modlin Airport. If you choose to fly to Modlin Airport, you must arrainge your own transportation. 

To do so you need to arrange a cab ride from Modlin to the hotel. This costs between € 30 and € 45 per trip. (Not per person, you can ride with several people per car). Cab rides can be reserved using the Bolt app, which you can download for apple or android.

Using the Bolt App

• Download the Bolt app from the App Store (apple) or Google Play (adroid). The app is free. 
• When you arrive at Modlin Airport, turn your location on, and enter the adress you are traveling to. The Addres is Aleja Krakowska 237 in Warsaw. 
• You can either pay in cash (in Polish zlotys), or by credit card. When you install the app it will ask you which option you would like to pay in. 
   

Conference speakers

Ron Brown
(Executive Director, Teen Challenge Southern California)

As Executive Director, Ron Brown oversees the ministry of Teen Challenge Southern California and its ten ministry locations.

In addition to the year-long structured Christian discipleship ministry for those addicted to drugs and alcohol, Teen Challenge Southern California provides comprehensive outreach and prevention programs for inner-city youth at risk of gang affiliation and drug abuse.

Along with his duties as Executive Director, Ron is passionate about leadership development and encourages pastors and Christian leaders through conferences and seminars locally, nationally, and internationally.

Conference costs

Registration closes on 15 April 2024, so be sure to register on time! 

We have listed a price below for an extra night for those coming early on Wednesday 1 May 2024. This will include dinner on Wednesday, and breakfast and lunch on Thursday. This price is only available for that date. If you wish to arrive in Poland earlier than Wednesday 1 May or later than Sunday 5 May you are responsible for arranging your stay at the hotel yourself.

Important note for Discount Countries
This year there is no separate price for what we have previously called 'Discount Countries'. We will offer a limited number of partial scholarships to help with conference costs. You can apply for a scholarship through your country leader no later than 1 April 2024.

• There are a limited number of single rooms available and will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. When all single rooms have been booked, we will remove this option from the website, so register early! 
• Beds for babies are available, please let us know in the registration form if you need one.  
• If you are staying in a double room, you may add your preferred roommate to the registration form. With the exception of married couples, we cannot gaurantee that you will be able to room with your preferred person. We will do our best, but we thank you in advance for understanding if for some reason you need to room with someone else. 

Day Guests 

If you live locally, and would like to attend the conference during the day, but stay at home in the evenings, see the registration form at the bottom of the page for the registration form for day guests. This form is in Polish. 

Payment Methods 

This year we have two payment options available.  We prefer if you pay through bank transfer if possible. 

• You may pay in cash (in euros) at the conference itself.
• Bank transfer – You may transfer the entire conference fee to the ETC bank account. This is a different account than the general ETC bank account. 
  Please pay your conference fee in full within two weeks of your registration.

Cancelation fee 
This year there is no deposit fee needed. However, if you cancel your registration after 15 April, you will be charged a € 50 cancellation fee. This is because we will still have to pay for your costs even if you cancel.
