Teen Challenge Kazakhstan provides youth and families with an effective and comprehensive Christian faith-based solution to life-controlling problems such as drug and alcohol addiction.
Teen Challenge Kazakhstan Juvenile Boys Program was established in 1997. During its many years of ministry Teen Challenge served over 2,000 children in Kazakhstan through its residential and outreach programs. The Teen Challenge for Boys residential program continues to be one of the most effective substance abuse recovery and prevention programs of its kind.
Currently now in Kazakhstan this Program is the only Center which provides such help as we do: education, secure environment, emotional and physical health, restored relationships in families and our final goal is to reintegrate these boys successfully to society.
We do not receive support from any government organization or from the families of these boys at all and all our expenditure such as: food, clothing, transportation, utilities, medical or dental services and school needs, we have to provide by ourselves. Most of the boys in our Program came from dysfunctional families who could not provide any chance for their children even to go to the school.
We currently have 9 teenage boys, ages 10-18 that are living in the Program. There are two families who are living with, serving and helping full time in this work.
