The ministry of Teen Challenge came to the UK in the 1970s. Teen Challenge in the United Kingdom has 12 local teams with over 500 workers made up from staff and volunteers, who work in multiple locations across the UK. They also have 6 Residential Centers, which are in England, Scotland and Wales.

Teen Challenge UK started in the late Seventies and now works in fifteen locations in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Teen Challenge London and Teen Challenge Strathclyde grew out of Teen Challenge UK and are now affiliated works. Teen Challenge has 12 local teams with over 500 workers made up from staff and volunteers, who work in multiple locations across the UK. Our 6 Residential Centres are in England, Scotland and Wales made up of 4 mens and 2 women centres (1 of which is a mothers and babies).

Video Hungry for the Homeless and Addicted

Teen Challenge North East Scotland Area Manage Gordon Cruden has just completed a mammoth homeless challenge, which saw him sleep rough in six cities across the UK and Ireland – London, Cardiff, Dublin, Belfast, Edinburgh and Aberdeen – over the course of 30 days. He used the Hungry for the Homeless and Addicted initiative to shine a light on the plight of hurting people and to raise funds for the purchase of female addiction recovery center, Benaiah.

Gordon Cruden from Teen Challenge North East Scotland is currently attempting to survive sleeping rough in five cities across the UK and Ireland – London, Cardiff, Dublin, Belfast and Edinburgh – over the course of 30 days. He’s using the 'Hungry for the Homeless and Addicted' initiative to shine a light on the plight of hurting people and to raise funds for the purchase of female addiction recovery center, Benaiah. The challenge is part of a five-year campaign to raise the £535,000 required to buy Benaiah.
